All week, we have had amazing support from our friends and our families on this $10/20 project.  I apologize for not posting as much this week.  We are receiving great support and feedback daily on this project and both Ron and I are energized at how we have the opportunity to meet immediate needs, immediately because of your contribution to the $10/20 minute project.

As many of you know, Ron has a family member in LA who is ill.  He fell last Sunday at home and has been in the hospital all week.   This week has been critical and unfortunately, it has not been a week of good news for him or for those who love him.  Ron will be flying to LA tomorrow and we’ll keep you posted.

A quick update:  we have received donations this week with amounts ranging from $10-$100.  Thank you!  We are up to 64 fans on our facebook page and have picked up a few new followers on twitter.  One of the most touching comments we received this week was from a lady who donated and sent a note that the donation was in honor of someone else.  She also told us about a grassroots project she is involved into end hunger in LA.  Her words, “It has been very exciting to see big things happen with little donations!”  YES IT HAS!
